Steps 1 : Get started- Choose your skills

Your journey begins with My Skills Passport, where you select the life-skills modules that match your goals and lifestyle.

Each module focuses on real-world activities, from cooking and budgeting to social confidence and digital skills, so you can build independence in ways that matter to you.

Your coach will help you set clear goals and design a plan that fits your daily routine, energy, and confidence level.

Step 2: My skills progress (how)

Once your modules are chosen, we support you step-by-step through hands-on learning and guided practice.

You’ll:

  • Practise real-life tasks with your coach or support worker

  • Use checklists and progress trackers to see your growth

  • Celebrate small wins that build motivation and momentum

This stage focuses on confidence through practice — helping you make everyday tasks part of your natural routine.

Step 3: Independence Activation (The Outcome)

This is where your practice turns into progress, and progress into independence.
Together, we’ll look back at how far you’ve come, celebrate your achievements, and plan what’s next.

With your new skills, routines, and confidence, you’ll begin taking more control of your day-to-day life, using your planners, checklists, and habits to stay organised and self-reliant.
Your coach will guide you as you step back from direct support and take the lead in managing your own life with confidence, freedom, and pride.
